How to Sell Yourself in 5 minutes: The art of personal branding
Dr. Delia (Dee Dee) Pfister serves as Associate Vice President, Academic Professional Development, Instructional Design & Online Learning for Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C®).
Before her career at Tri-C, Dee Dee served in both the corporate and higher education sectors. Dr. Pfister’s leadership talents have produced innovative strategies to promote student scholarship and maintain high quality standards in academia. In her various roles, she developed expertise in faculty and curriculum development, policy creation, enrollment management, student advising and teaching. Prior to her profession in higher education, Dee Dee was a marketing professional in both the advertising and the banking industries. Her marketing experience has served many organizations well, including successful new program launches. Among her many notable accomplishments, Dr. Bober received the National Council on Student Development (NCSD) 2017 Dissertation of the Year Award, for her dissertation entitled, Singled Out for Success: A Narrative Inquiry of Single Mothers in the Community College.
Dr. Pfister holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in higher education administration, a master’s degree in interpersonal communication, a graduate certificate in women’s studies, a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication and a minor in studio art. Dee Dee was the first student in the Ohio University School of Communication to earn both a master’s and a bachelor’s degree simultaneously in four years. In her spare time, Dr. Bober enjoys gourmet and vegan cooking, running, traveling, musical theater and spending time with her family.

Members are encouraged to attend and cast their vote for 2024 Board of Directors candidates. Members in good standing are eligible to cast one vote per membership and must be present at this event to vote.
