All of the Chamber of Commerce member's hearts and thoughts are with the three local businesses who lost everything in a devasting fire. It’s hard to even imagine what the coming days and months will look like, and the weight of starting over. Dr. Scott Sedlacek of The Eye Place is a valued member of our Chamber Board of Trustees. Falls Family Restaurant has been a staple in our community for over 30 years. Keith Jewelers is the epitome of a small, community business—family-owned and operated, with a focus on excellent, personalized service. Please know this - you will not go through this alone. The Chamber of Commerce and the entire Olmsted community are here to support you in any way we can. So many of us are deeply connected to this town—our families, our livelihoods, our memories, our roots. Even in the hardest moments, we’re reminded: “Storms make trees take deeper roots.” We will stand together to support our neighbors, support one another, and rebuild—stronger than before. We're collecting cash and credit card donations at Gibbs Butcher Block and Gibbs Butcher & Brews to support the three local business owners -- Falls Family Restaurant, The Eye Place, and Keith Jewelers who lost their livelihoods. You can donate whether you're dining with us or just stopping in. For simplicity, our registers are set up to accept donation amounts of $5, $10, $25, $50, or $100. To help make an even greater impact, we will match all donations up to $1,000. As a thank you, for every $100 donated, you'll receive a $10 gift card to use on a future visit. On Friday, May 1st a devastating fire struck the heart of Olmsted Falls, resulting in a total loss for three of our cherished neighbors. These aren't just businesses; they are the people who have served our community for decades. At Matteo’s, we want to do our part to help them get back on their feet, and we’re inviting you to join us. Starting tonight, Matteo’s will serve as a monetary donation hub. When you join us for dinner, you can simply add a donation to your check. 100% of these donations will go directly to the owners of the affected businesses. If you aren't staying for dinner, you are also welcome to leave a donation at our host stand. | This May, Lemon Tree Skin + Sugaring is standing with our community. In response to the devastating May 1st fire in Olmsted Falls we are donating 15% of all sales throughout the month to support the local businesses and their employees who were affected. All funds will be contributed directly to the relief account established by Olmsted Chamber of Commerce ensuring the funds reach those who need it most.
